Dub FX Flow 2024
As an artist, I though having formal paralels with the visuality of the street, have always intended to communicate through ‘traditional’ works of art. My message is not considerably my own device; I rather tend to stay open for what the world could mean to me and transform it into artworks. The main inspiring source for me is not only the visual but the overall agression that stimulates without reason, and from which you cannot hide.
I have overcome my initial revolutionary ardor – which was quite uplifting as it addressed everybody – or at any rate found my place between the current situation and utopia. I neither bury painting nor do I escape into its golden age, instead by reconciling its legacy with the overflowing visual elements of our time, I classicize the nauseating quality of the millennium as much as my artistic sensibility possibly allows.

I hardly ever let any specific motive seep into my unique art, so my rasterized “private-characters” cannot be postmodern echos of borrowed pieces, but rather some kind of contemporary monsters, which together represent the demonic aspects of the high-tech age: the candy coated dash for the consumer.
