Wang Sishun

Wang Sishun, was born in Wuhan, China on July 22, 1979.
In 2008, graduated from the Sculpture Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree. Currently living in Beijing.
I collect all kinds of stones that look like portrait from all over the world including Russia, France, Italy, Afghanistan, Uruguay, Egypt, Africa, and various areas of China. The portrait is not an image, it is a kind of personality characteristic and intrinsic value. The stones are of different sizes, shapes, colors and textures. They seems as lives come from various worlds and regains, races and identities, past and future. and they intrinsic value, such as the sacred, the noble, the ugly, the evil, they integrate into a world filled with intersection and conflict. they have been shaped by eons of time and geological movements, not by human hands, and therefore have fundamental vitality and power.
