Bittersweet 2015

A frenetic adventure of two hilarious characters, told through several interlaced non-stop stories that leave you without blink. Not quite like anything you've tasted before, this street dance duo creates classical numbers with contemporary touches in an off-the-wall, slightly surreal, very funny and highly talented mix of Bboy style, pantomime, theatre and physical comedy, using the audience like link in the story. Stories full of positive energy showing a very happy way to see the world dealing with problems like discrimination in different types like racism, age and sexism.

What is beautiful? what is ugly? What does the word love mean? These are some of the questions we ask ourselves in this particular vision-distortion of the classic Carmen by Bizet. Through two hilarious characters, we develop several intertwined stories without rest that will not let you blink. A surreal comedy with a street flavor that mixes breakdancing, theater, pantomime and physical comedy, using the audience indirectly as a link within the story.

Umami is a Japanese word meaning "tasty" and is one of the five basic tastes along with sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. With this inspiration, Gustavo Hoyos (Spain) and Jerome Leperlier (France) created the company in December 2013, endowing it with a strong comic character, using breakdance, physical comedy, pantomime and theater as scenic languages, seeking to awaken passers-by. of the cities making them participants in the show with the aim of transforming the squares into improvised stages and allowing access to art to the public without resources. They have been working in the main national and international street festivals the last 10 years and have won 9 first prizes.
