“Stilnox” could be a phenomenon in contemporary society.
It’s the largest use of sleeping pills.
As more and more people have sleep disorders,
Insomnia has also become one of the major diseases of modern society.
I have the dual status of a pharmacist and an artist.
Use 200 stilnox empty boxes as canvases to paint the observed phenomena and emotions.

It also arouses the awareness of understanding sleeping pills.
We must be the masters of the drug, instead of drug abuse and addiction.

Digital Thunder
An irregular and abstract pattern observed on the construction fences in the concrete jungle of Taipei.
To probe into the reason why I’m deeply attracted,
I utilize digital tools to search for the sources of the energy.
It turns out that it is like a bolt of lightning from the digital world,
Also like the liveliness from the primitive nature.
Frida Kahlo 2019
In memory of Frida Kahlo, one of my favorite artists.
She is a remarkable woman who persevered despite living through immense physical pain for most of her life and endured heartbreak from the one man she loved more than life itself.
Never once the victim, Kahlo just went on living and dreaming.
She was unapologetic about who she was and that’s why she continues to shine today.
She never hid behind a facade or made excuses for who she was.
She never pretended to be someone else, she just was.

Szu Ling Liu
Taiwan
I’m Szu-ling Liu from Taiwan, Taipei.
I’m a motivated , ambitious and perseverance self-taught visual artist working across design, photography and art. Artworks from photography, graphics, motions, paintings, and still explore various possibilities. I’m also a pharmacist at community pharmacy.
I graduated both from NTU in Pharmacy and NTUA in Visual Communication.
Experimentality and abstract avant-garde are two major characteristics of my works.
In less than a year, I was soon selected to the Tokyo International Art Fair and won golden winner in Paris Photography Prize.
My works have won numerous of international awards across different fields such as Adobe Design Achievement Competition, International Photography Awards and London International Creative Competition, etc.
Most of my works express relationship between self and digital technology. It can either return to the pure essence or explore boundaries between realities and illusions under the digital age.
