This work of mine is a narrative of emotions and desires framed together within a
boundary as an identification of the incarcerated plight that we are currently
undergoing.

This work of mine is to give the viewer a tumultuous feeling looking at a composition of outlandish
and absurd objects formulated together in an unfamiliar fashion. The work portrays the complicated
human mind.

Sarban completed his B.F.A. & M.F.A. in Ceramic Art from Govt. College of Art & Craft,
Kolkata in 2014 and 2016 respectively. He has participated in several art residencies and
symposiums including Boleslawiecki Centrum Ceramiki in
Poland, 4th International wood fire Ceramic Symposium
in Russia, 8th Uronto Residential Art Exchange Program in Bangladesh, Art Ichol, Art for Change Foundation , Piramal Art Residency , National
Ceramic Camp by Lalit Kala Akademi, The 4Tables Art Project , Uttarayan Art
Foundation , Kala Sakshi Workshop etc. He is a newly member of Artaxis and has been featured by the
Platform magazine, Design India, Arts Illustrated, India Today, Plener Ceramiczno, among others. For
a living, Sarban currently works as an Assistant Professor in Lifestyle Accessory Design department at UID, Ahmedabad. He had been associated earlier with Delhi Blue Pottery as a studio-in-charge.
