Starting from coaching with horses, I examined riding as a possibility for inner and outer balance, physical and mental movement, emotional and sexual excitement, as well as physical and psychological relaxation. The photographs, drawings and objects, presented in the form of a course, bear witness to encounters with living and artificial horses. The exhibition "All Happiness on Earth", as well as the accompanying publication of the same name, address media representations and linguistically linked metaphors of riding that are related to power and control, trust, closeness, as well as sexism and racism. The “estimation room” of the Frankfurt Sotheby’s branch is used for the presentation and interpretation of potential goods, appraisals, valuations and price negotiations. The exhibition responds to the overall site-specific context and the associated performative situation.
