During the creative process, I explore technical and aesthetic solutions, where honesty leads to pure forms. My goal is to move the viewer and surprise myself. The perception of abstract work varies with each observer, shaped by their experiences and emotions, unconsciously revealing something about themselves.

FLEXIBILITY 2019

My thoughts and emotions are reflected in my work—sometimes narrative and colorful, sometimes abstract and monochrome. Strong emotions lie within simple three-dimensional lines, shaped by light and shadow, aiming to move the viewer.

– Born in Herentals, where she studied, lives, and continues to work as a sculptural ce
ramist. Her work gained international recognition in 2006 through the renowned Inter
national Biennale of Contemporary Ceramics in Vallauris, France. Since then, her pieces
have been exhibited across Europe, and in Jingdezhen, China, her work is part of the
permanent collection at the Taoxichuan Academy. In 2019, she received the Diploma
of Honour at the Korean International Ceramic Biennale (KICB). Her work is showcased
by Galerie Marc Heiremans at prestigious art fairs such as TEFAF Maastricht (NL) and
BRAFA Brussels (BE). Her pieces are included in museum collections as well as in private
collections.
