Kota Baru (New City) 2019
Kota Baru is an abstract architectural sculpture constructed from a range of mixed media materials like scrap woods, successful and failed 3D prints, broken filaments, flowers, LED lights, recycle materials and micro:bit. In this project, I attempt to explore intersections between nature, architectures, found objects, art, and technology. I imagine a sustainable eco city where the society is progressing to achieve sustainable living by generating eco technology, a mechanism that make use of living plants and waste to generate electiricy to support everyday activities. Furthermore, an inbuilt
system is designed to enable the whole city to receive safety alarm alert. *KOTA BARU means New City in Bahasa Indonesia
This project is inspired by following goals from the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals: 7. Affordable and Clean Energy, 11 sustainable cities and communities and 12 responsible consumption and producation

HERE & BEYOND (series of paintings) 2016
“Freed from the boundaries of time and space, I co-ordinate any and all points of universe, wherever I want them to be. My way leads towards the creation of a fresh perception of the world. Thus I explain in a new way the world unknown to you.”—Dziga Vertov
Whenever I stumble upon the photographs of constellation or galaxy, I constantly wonder about the possibility of extraterrestrial civilization living out there in the universe. I would imagine what would it be like living in the unknown world and how do the societies look like . These questions then led me to create on going series of painting “Here & Beyond”, where each work displays a fantastic world that has its own dimension in time and space. I would like to invite the viewers to put on their imagination caps for a wondrous journey traveling through the time into the world beyond the planet we are living in.

The Tale of Constellations 2013
“Freed from the boundaries of time and space, I co-ordinate any and all points of universe, wherever I want them to be. My way leads towards the creation of a fresh perception of the world. Thus I explain in a new way the world unknown to you.”—Dziga Vertov
The Tale of Constellations, inspired by astronomical constellations and urban construction is an imaginative landscape constructed using complex structures of coloured sticks and wires. The act of looking up to the space reminisces the way we stare at the stars at the night sky, evoking a sense of wonder and imagining a life of an unknown civilization inhabit in floating cities in another universe.
