In past decades, the world is facing massive changes, majorly due to environmental and geographical disasters, which is generating massive no of refugees. In 1954 U.S city of St, Louis, Missouri, there was urban housing project, named as Pruitt- Igoe by late 1960s experts analysis report affirm that this housing project was internationally infamous due to its living environment encouraged increasing of crime, racial segregation and poverty and in 1970’s, the architect Minoru Yamasaki himself accepted this failure and authority ordered and all thirty three buildings were demolished with explosives, which was an icon of failure for urban renewal under urban housing projects.
Why was it a big failure? The study shows that the difference between home and house was there, is a constant stipulation in the housing projects, but again we have to think , are we availing them home.

If we look at the UNO reports, there is persistently increase in the no of refugees around the world, which is an alarming for all of us, because on one side we are leaving a prosperous and happy life and on other side, people don’t have home to live and continuously migrating in the panic situation with the lack of basic needs. Why we prisoned Humanity in the boundaries of the nations.
In our own country “India” are we successful in prospering the humanity, it is questionable. Aer we failed as a nation? yes still as a nation we have hope , but need to connect everyone with the thread of humanity, we can lift them to them to the better resources, why few people enjoying everything on its extreme and on other side our people do not have enough basic requirements. We have to think about this disastrous and it is possible that same thing can be happened to anyone, yes, we too it is possible, look around.

PRITHWIRAJ MALI

India

Prithwiraj Mali was born in 1978 as a simple country boy who lived near the Sundarbans area in West
Bengal, his grown-up socio-cultural background and one hand natural calamities and on the other hand
partition, migration, and his socialist ideologies influenced the early phases of practices of art. His
entered to the govt College of Art in Calcutta year of 1996, then he moved to Baroda for MA in sculpture
from MSU Baroda in 2003.
In the year of 2006, he got an opportunity to work with Herave Hood at Bellandery Sculpture Workshop
South Welse in the UK and then he finally shifted to Baroda as a practicing artist, at the same time he is
teaching in an architecture college in Baroda. Last more than one decayed his work turned into an
architectural dimension with global issues manly partition migration and emigrations.
