Home- Den Haag, Black porcelain, transfer print, engobes, and underglaze pigments, transparent glaze, 1230 0C fired, 32x35x37 cm
“Home-Den Haag” is one of the recent pieces I create in terms of expressing who I am, what do I see, what do I think, how I am impressed by this entire environment, how I can visualize all these on the surface of a porcelain female figure, in what ways I can express all these visual outcomes of insight
Two-dimensional images like the landscape photos I took during daily trips, google maps history pages or the texts scribbled on different subjects and in different languages are the elements filling up my visual memory. I deal with transfer printing technics to apply these images of visual memory on the surface of my porcelain figure. In this way, my figure itself became a carrier of my visions, a page from the diary of my visions.

I deal with transfer printing technics to apply these images of visual memory on the surface of my porcelain figure. These images applied on the surface of the figure create a kind of optical illusion and a slight loss of sense of 3rd dimension. In this way, my figure itself became a carrier of my visions, a page from the diary of my visions.
