The Other Witch by Nejla Yatkin is a multi-media and multi-lingual dance performance in 3 segments featuring elements of contemporary dance, dance ritual, text, sound, and music. The dance solo is a haunting visual experience that alludes to the untamable aspects of Nature. For Moving Nature Dreams by Nejla Yatkin
An homage to Loie, Nana and Isadora
German-born choreographer Nejla Yatkin creates a site-specific, promenade-style interactive dance performances that move the audience along the North Pond at Chicago's Lincoln Park. Yatkin invites her audience into a place and time, exposing and exploring it, and then reflecting on it through movement. For Moving Nature Dreams, Yatkin created a solo inspired by Loie Fuller’s work with costume courtesy of the Chicago Moving Dance Company.

Raised in the walled city of West Berlin, Nejla hails from a lineage of nomadic tribes from Anatolia, bringing a unique perspective to her art. Her interdisciplinary approach has led her to create works ranging from solo performances to public installations, film, and augmented reality.
Nejla's ability to connect with audiences has garnered her recognition and grants from prestigious organizations such as the Princess Grace Foundation, the Baryshnikov Art Center, and the John F. Kennedy Center, among others.
