Te Atendería 3 | 2017
This piece was produced during a residency in Aix-en-Provence, France. The work was a response to a study of the color palette of Paul Cézanne in his Montagne Sainte-Victoire paintings. I studied the works of art as well as visiting the sites where he painted.

This piece was a study of color and light in the context of the location this piece was created, right next to the river Seine. Through the window you could see the river.

The You and the I | 2015
For this piece it was my intention to connect the ceiling to the floor of the gallery, at the same time as making reference to the inside of an organism through the organic shapes represented and the color palette of reds and browns. The title of the piece makes reference to a piece by Lygia Clark of the same name.
