Water Sculpture 10 from the series ‘You will always Be’ 2019
Water Sculpture 10 is composed of water in fusion with light captured at Apollo’s Fountain in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
All images from the series ‘You will always Be’ come from the same digitally destructured and restructured photograph used repeatedly to create a visual representation of energy flow and the continuous cycle of Being.
The series alludes to stages of our evolution from our embryonic beginning to physical demise, from the release of our energy to the indestructible energetic trace of our existence. The final image, Water Sculpture 10 materializes this ultimate element of our Being, destined to further interact and evolve on its infinite journey through time and space.
In line with reflections on the relationship between matter and energy, and the premise that energy cannot be destroyed, the metaphysical concept is that we may no longer Be physically, but we will remain present in the form of the unique energetic essence that is our life story.
