Counterpoint Trains. 2013
Laser cutting of 92 plectrums from Steve Reich’s¹ vinyl record. Twenty one Portuguese guitar players were invited to create a guitar theme that would refer to trains sounds, by using one of the laser cut plectrums. A new vinyl record was recorded with all the new themes.

Marco Moreira, Lisbon, Portugal Studing PhD in Creation and research in contemporary art in Faculdad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Vigo in Spain. Concluded Degree and MA in Painting at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, in Portugal. Participates in various courses and workshops in Multimedia, Illustration, Animation, Drawing and Visual Arts, highlighting the training at the Imaging Center, Studies, Art and Multimedia (CIEAM), Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, completing the course in Animation Drawing in 2009. Was an Erasmus student at the Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009/10.
