She Who Weaves Remedies 2020

Inspired by the ancient Mayan healing goddess Ixchel, I was comforted while creating this painting as the world suffered from the pandemic. I hope it offers similar feelings to others.

She is Hope 2020

Some say Hope Dies last. I say Hope stays hidden until released. It is like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.

She Who Harbours the Sea 2019

Inspired by the Native American goddess Sedna, and by the Celtic Selkies, and by mermaid lore, this painting is a prayer for healing life in our oceans.

Linda Storm

United States

Her childhood curiosity about a divine feminine presence led artist Linda Storm to resurrect goddesses from ancient global cultures, with paint on canvas. In 2018, she received international recognition for their debut exhibit in Italy.
Pre-pandemic, Linda mentored high school girls, hosted art retreats and events for women and other underrepresented creatives, cofounded an art collective, received The Albuquerque Journal North’s People’s Choice Award, and since 2017 she created stage projections for the New Mexico Platinum Music Awards.
In 2020 Linda painted ancient healing goddesses. She received an honorarium and inclusion in an exhibit by Mozaik Philanthropy, and by DAB on Artsy. She donated paintings to recovering Covid-19 patients, offered her art retreat to nurses, was invited to the Chateau Orqevaux residency in France, and into the Acclaimed Artists Series by New Mexico Arts. In 2021 she was featured by the NM Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
