This is an abstract of a shark's eye seashell (Neverita duplicata): A marine gastropod mollusk once lived in this vessel.
A blueish tone was added to this image in post, depicting the sea and offering a serene state to the viewer.
Patterns are everywhere in the natural world, from the galaxies to the circular patterns found in this mollusk's outer shell. These familiar patterns invigorate and soothe us, reminding us of the interconnectivity that sustains life.

Imagine 2019
Critically endangered Sumatran male orangutan (Pongo abelii) photographed at Audubon Nature Institute.
Many of our familial primate species are being challenged by climate change, poaching, and a lack of habitat. Many are in peril of impending extinction.
This image offers a close-grained view, encouraging us to connect. The calmness and profile of the subject give the viewer a chance to transform their interpretations while longing to understand what the subject's state is or what he is thinking.

Lennette was born in the high plains of Kimball, Nebraska USA. Daughter to a large
animal veterinarian, her fascination with animal behavior sparked at a young age
Her curiosity about animals was augmented by her captivation with the entire natural
world, mesmerized by her environment, Lennette chose to use the art of photography to
capture these enthralling aspects of life. Beginning as a commercial photographer, she
specialized in advertisements containing humans and animals. Simultaneously she
maintained a passion to pursue personal projects, constantly photographing animals
and nature in original styles to reveal the delightful personalities of living creatures and
the environments they live in. Her work has been recognized for many photographic
prizes and shown in several exhibitions around the world.
