Trilogy Great White Roses – The secret of 369 2019

Serial of paintings Great White Roses is dedicated to the authentic Slovenian rose ”Snežniška gartroža“. They are made for the event on Castle Snežnik in collaboration with the National Museum of Slovenia.
Paintings are made in the advanced Leonardo da Vinci sfumato technique, “Painting with light“, developed by Kiki Klimt. Her unique way of painting is based on ancient knowledge, contemporary science, and her own study and experience. Painting with light combines the physical, emotional, and rational aspects of painting. The number of layers and geometry of composition are made according to ancient knowledge about the structure of the material world.
Painting with light is diametral to the usual painting image and is not made by putting material on the surface but by alluring the light out of the material. It is a painting based on ancient knowledge about light's nature and the latest quantum physic research.

Visual Analysis of the Myth Psyche and Eros through Hegel’s Dialectic 2023

The ancient Greek myth of Psyche and Eros is one of the few archetypal European myths that places women in the position of a hero. Initially, I perceived it as a manual on finding love, beauty and the state of Hedonia or Joy. As I delved into it, I discovered more and more anomalies and began to look for what is hidden behind the obvious. Here comes the Hegel’s dialectic. I do a THESIS, which is evident at first glance, then its opposite ANTITHESIS, and only after analysing and painting both do I create a SYNTHESIS of the two. I made 108 paintings on wood, accompanied by a complex creation system.
