Plastic reality 2020

The drawing is intended to provoke reflection, to make people aware that the negative consequences of overusing plastic affect each of us. Plastic contamination will soon be catastrophic for human health and is slowly killing the human race. Plastic consumption and pollution harms human health. The realistic drawing served as a means of selfreflection, the realistic nature of the works and strong aesthetic impressions are intended to draw attention to the need for plastic reduction.
Isolation 2021

Isolation is a part of the creative process. Self-isolation can be difficult, but it can also be an opportunity for self-reflection and renewal. When we self-isolate we experience the same thing – we become vulnerable, we often reflect on the immediate situation and ourselves, and we experience new ways of seeing ourselves and the world. Drawings equate the anxiety of finding one’s own identity in times when we often wear masks and are not ourselves. In this case isolation is a positive action, aimed to turn deep into ourselves, find our identity, strength and motivation to act.

I am an award-winning portrait and figurative artist specializing in highly detailed works in pencil. After graduating from Academy of Arts in Wroclaw and Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, i have worked as a graphic designer in advertising agencies in Switzerland and Austria. Following my graduation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and doctoral degree in drawing, I was confirmed in my decision to continue my professional journey as an artist. In 2011 I won my first prestigious award – The International Association of Art (IAA) Europe Award.
I have always been interested in portraying reality. I look for inspiration in the nature of the observed fragments, mostly on events taking place in my immediate surroundings. In my drawings abstract elements, as well as realistic drawing, are strongly considered – visually and psychologically. That style cannot be collapsed into one way of seeing my work. It is a combination of classical art and something entirely new.
