Hello! My name is Juan Carlos but everyone tells me “CAKE”.
I draw from a very young age but I started doing it more often while studying Graphic Design and illustration. There I realized that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life since it was what made me completely happy.
I consider that my style is quite naive, childish, fresh and I always combine fantasy with humor trying to generate some connection in the viewer with his inner child, which most of the time he usually loses when he grows up.
I get quite inspired by everyday situations mixed with elements of nature, the Peruvian and references that I see in my travels.
In the colors I use, warm colors usually predominate as they convey a sociable and energetic message.
