SKIN FLAGS & SKIN SCREEN 2020
SKIN FLAGS & SKIN SCREEN, an experimental, participative, innovative visual artistic research that creates link and a dialogue between mix-digital arts and biology to give the public the perceptual experience of hybridization.
From sculpture of the skin flag recontextualized and photographed in different spaces (Nature / architecture / institution / exhibition), SCREEN SKIN (of our diversity) offers an installation of objects, photos, and videos whose basis was drawn from historical questions on migration and cultural appropriation. The project can be interpreted as a political gesture to defend individual freedom through the chaotic future.

I was born in Paris in the 70s from parents Guadeloupean (FR) who met themselves in Switzerland. From polar to exotic meeting, superposition of miscegenation and cultural correspondences between islands and continents: America (Caribbean), Europe (France-Italy), Africa (Kenya-Guinea), Asia (India), this singularity predisposes me to explore the hybrid relationship between Art-Culture-History-Migration-Biology-Genetics such as epiphytic plants that grow on the bark of History, trees, pillars of architecture. In parallel to my artistic activity, I got involved in the cultural journalistic activity of the CULTURAMAauthor collective: https://culturama.studio/. Another way to create artistic links with a diversified, ethical and sustainable global vision.
