I was born and live in Lyon, France.
I received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts and a diploma in Graphic Art.
My aim is to draw thoughts and feelings of everyday life. I paint current events in their beauty as well as in their darkness, and various themes such as global warming, exodus, overcrowding, joys and sorrows, and I like to add a touch of humor to everything.
I often start from a realistic subject and transpose it with my imagination. When an idea comes through my mind, I start by making many charcoal sketches. When I am finally satisfied by the expression of one of them, I put it on canvas, using exclusively acrilic colors. I never think about colors I will use, they instinctively come to my mind, one color brings another one.
Magritte is one of my favorite painters.
