JBD was born in Connecticut, USA and begin studies in the UK at 15 which lead her to the Hotech School of Design in Rome, Italy and an enduring fascination with every period of Italian art and architecture. Jill completed her formal training at the New Academy for Art Studies in London before setting out as an artist with exhibitions on London, Rome, Paris, Gstaad and Monte Carlo. Jill uses her own interpretation of collage to create sculptures to tell stoeies and speak metaphors
