Creating Figures 2019

“Creating Figures” is a painting of a mother-daughter relationship.
The mother is pregnant, watching over her daughter. The girl is on
the table drawing a self-portrait, which doubles as a portrait of the
artist herself.

Under the table 2019

“Under the Table” depicts a view of the table from underneath. The
family relationships are represented by feet and shoes, which show
very much about the family’s interactions. Simple symbols point to
identity and society.
