I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. I received a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA from Northern Illinois University. I am currently a full professor at Kendall College of Art and Design. I have been awarded grants from Arts Midwest, Regional NEA, the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs, the Arts Foundation of Michigan and the Michigan council for the Arts: Creative Artist Grant. I have shown in New York City at Woodward Gallery and Brenda Taylor Gallery in Chelsea. My work has been published in Direct Art Magazine and Studio Visit Magazine.
