Parallel Worlds . 2015

Things are not always what they seem to be. Sometimes we can pass from one world to another, from the world of living creatures to the world of objects.

Childhood Memory. 2016

This photo speaks about our childhood, a land of innocence and freedom. When we are children we have a great power to imagine, dream and have such a beautiful and pure connection to a secret universe. The childhood is a complex and great world, almost as a piano song.

Presence of Absence. 2016

This photo speaks about the solitude of our being. We feel at times that something is missing, that somehow our being or the space we live in is not complete. We can feel a tension, a presence, but not quite see it.

Iris Maris Tusa

I live in Bucharest, have a PhD in biology, graduated Francisc Mraz Photography School, member of BULB collective and editor for Street Photography Group. I have participated in numerous photo exhibitions and in 2017 has published a photobook called Antarctica. A place beyond time. I consider that photography is a joy of knowledge and self-knowledge that speaks more of the inside world of a photographer then that from the outside, unveiling his deepest beliefs. The frame construction is essential in the photographic process. A photograph should have the capacity to surprise and touch.
