
LINES. 2011
This photographed the tatami mat which was a traditional floor of Japan. Tatami mat craftsman wrap it and make it with the carpet-formed tatami facing which the tatami mat knits a rush, and was made. Therefore it slips off over time, whether there is a little surface, and the life pattern of the resident is recorded on the surface. As if the surface of the earth gradually has changed by activity of the human.

Snow Dumping SIte. 2018
Areas having much snow, the snow accumulates around houses. These things generate many kinds of feelings for the residents there. That is why we must remove snow to somewhere like riverside or vacant lot. It’s called “snow dumping site” or “snow removal site”.
Companies with snow removal equipment offer to provide services to remove it. The machine put the snow into dump trucks and transport it to the sites. The piles of snow in front our houses grow higher and make mountains of snow. Those suddenly appear in winter and disappear in spring.

Houses reflect the characteristics of the residents.
Many kinds of items are put in front of houses according to the occupants family structure.
In winter, these items are removed or hidden under snow.
Areas having much snow, the snow accumulates around houses.
These things generate many kinds of feelings for the residents there.
