I use charcoal made by burning a wooden canvas frame.
I am interested in the surface of the painting, but I am also interested in the structure behind the surface.
When the material behind the surface of the painting changes its presence, starts a conversation on the surface of the painting, and creates a new presence,
the material behind the surface must be more beautiful than ever before.

キャンバスの木枠を燃やし
出来た炭を使用する。
画面に興味があるのは当然だが
画面の裏の構造に興味がある。
画面の裏の規定材が存在を変えて、画面の表舞台で会話を始め、新たな存在を生み出す時、
裏の規定材は以前にもまして美しくなければならない。
