Ashes 2020
ashes [ plural ]
: what is left of something after it has been destroyed, especially the residue of something destroyed
Synonymous ; remains; vestiges
This work of Art must be approached in its totality to be understood.
It is an inclusive experience and the impact comes after the viewer has experienced each element.
The text, image, and the «mise en scène», work together to focus the viewers emotions and encourage a realization.
We are indeed talking about an experience because this work of art is about a visual and auditory journey.
The artist aims to communicate and share with the world the vitality and movement that her work embodies as she creates it. It has always been alive, in her mind, and now with the multiple elements the energy can be seen by others.
Just like ashes, this Experience is the memory of thoughts, reflexions and exchanges.

Haoua Habré
France
Haoua Habre (lives and works in Paris) is a contemporary fine artist who graduated from L’ Academie Charpentier in Paris.
Through her works of art she explores the idea of identity as well as the relationship that people have with themselves, especially in a society where «defining ourselves appears to be quite complex».
Hence, her poems and artworks challenge «Who we are» «Who we think we are» and «Who others think we are».
Her work is linked to human psychology and sociology as well as our consumer society.
In this regard, she explains « I use techniques that exhibit feelings of distress and gentleness such as colors, graphic strokes and curves. The elements express themselves distinctively and relate to each other, a message, leading to a story».
Her artworks are in line with the theme she approaches. The abstract nature of her work references the unknown aspects of human relations; no one truly knows their meanings, yet their interpretation lies in each one of us.
