This project recreates, through a playful and critical act, the urban traces of the places where the raw material that constitutes them was collected, thereby evidencing the traces that human beings leave on the territory.

"Urban footprints" is a rereading, a reinterpretation of the traces that the human being leaves on the territory. The ancestral way from which we left our traces on the territory was the architectural and urban construction of cities. These urbanizations generated uses and new customs, the fruits of a growing, industrialized and capitalist system, and the waste, the remains of that growth, accumulate day by day, consolidating the traces of a civilization that is the result of accelerated growth.
"Urban footprints" uses the waste that is found and collected in the cities, which has been accessed through community collection systems to generate links, ties and community in pursuit of a better city and a better use of waste.

Guillermo Anselmo Vezzosi is a Visual Artist and Architect. His artistic training came from the Artists Luis Felipe Noé.
Due to the potential of his artistic production for internationalization, he has been selected among the 10 Emerging Argentine Artists and also for the Argentine Culture to the World Program, both of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina.
His work has been exhibited in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Germany, Italy, the United States, England, Luxembourg, Palestine, Spain and Türkiye.
He has carried out art residencies in Chile, Germany, Palestine and the United States.
He has obtained the 2019 FNA Creation Grant and the NBSF Foundation – FNA 2013 grant.
He is affiliated with JPL/NASA where he is working on art+science projects related to the melting of the poles and the rise in sea level.
His works are part of Public and Private Collections in Argentina and the world.
