Conversazioni 2020

The collage I am presenting is called "Conversazioni" and is part of the "Associazioni libere" project, a series of collages made with the use of Photoshop. Thanks to digital processing, I have combined historical, famous black and white photographs with modern and contemporary works of art, trying to find a meaning, a connection, a reference and above all an association between photography and work. They are collages that try to make us reflect in a playful and playful way on the bonds that can be formed and what are the different associations between two very different artistic expressions. "Conversazioni" is a digital elaboration in which I combined René Magritte 's paint and a scene of "Stazione Termini" a Vittorio de Sica's film.

Incastri perfetti 2020

The collage I am presenting is called "Incatrsi perfetti" and is part of the "Associazioni libere" project, a series of collages made with the use of Photoshop. Thanks to digital processing, I have combined historical, famous black and white photographs with modern and contemporary works of art, trying to find a meaning, a connection, a reference and above all an association between photography and work. They are collages that try to make us reflect in a playful and playful way on the bonds that can be formed and what are the different associations between two very different artistic expressions. "Incastri perfetti" is a digital elaboration in which I combined Andrea Mantegna's work and the iconic and historic photograph of Elliott Erwitt.

Pausa pranzo 2019

The collage I am presenting is called "Pausa pranzo" and is part of the "Associazioni libere" project, a series of collages made with the use of Photoshop. Thanks to digital processing, I have combined historical, famous black and white photographs with modern and contemporary works of art, trying to find a meaning, a connection, a reference and above all an association between photography and work. They are collages that try to make us reflect in a playful and playful way on the bonds that can be formed and what are the different associations between two very different artistic expressions. "Pausa pranzo" is a digital elaboration in which I combined Mondrian's painting and the iconic and historic photograph of the workers' lunch break in New York.

Giulia Gaffi

Italy

Born in Rome in 1995, graduated in classical high school in 2014 and in 2018 graduated in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with an experimental thesis on the British artist Antony Gormley. I am currently attending the master's course in Decoration, also in Rome, and i am writing an experimental thesis on the artist Luigi Ghirri to obtain a second level diploma. I mainly work with photography but from this year I started experimenting with the collage technique through the use of Photoshop.
