VIL 2019

“Vil” is old Ukrainian word that mean big bull, helping people to plough up fields. Vil always had magical power in ancient fairy tales. Birds are the precursors of life and guardians of fire. All decorative elements has cosmic meaning and symbolize structure of the world. Every peace of this artwork inspired by ancient Ukrainian embroidery.

The Path 2019

I hope that the every bright path ends with enchanting sights.
This is my reading of part of ethnic Ukrainian costume named ‘pasok’ (hand twisted belt), that is actually painted here. This allegory arose in my head when I saw it at the first time.

Born in 1986 in Khmelnytskyi.
Restart drawing in 2019 after more than 15 years brake. My works are inspired by ancient ethnic culture and deep admiration for our planet and nature. I just start my artists path and have strong belief that this is my true destiny.
