An interdisciplinary artist primarily focused on photography and 3-dimensional artwork dealing with concepts of time, space, and existence within the philosophical framework of object oriented ontology. Retired from the Oregon Army National Guard (US Army) after 24 years of military service including a peacekeeping tour in the Sinai, and combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. My military experience has shaped my beliefs in the transient presence, and the necessity to create in a world filled with destruction. I received my BFA in Art and Design from Western Oregon University, Monmouth, Oregon in 2019, and am currently pursuing my MFA in Studio Arts at Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy, expecting to graduate in 2021. Since 2011 I have been exhibiting works ranging from digital photography, woodblock and linoleum prints, to sculptural works in local, regional, national and international art exhibitions.
