Dmitrii Filimonov was born in a small village in the Ulyanovsk region. At the age of 14 he moved to the city of Ulyanovsk and entered the College of Culture and Art and studied landscape design.
In 2016 he moved to Moscow. In 2022 he graduated from the department of monumental and decorative painting of the Moscow State Art Academy named after Stroganov.
After the outbreak of war in Ukraine and laws banning LGBT propaganda, Dmitrii was forced to leave the country. He lived in Tbilisi, Georgia for two years and moved to France in April 2024. He lives and works in Paris.
