I studied art in Corriente Alterna and graduated in 1999 with the Gold Medal and later completed an MFA at Central Saint Martins (2004). In my work I use performance, painting and installation. Important exhibitions: “Estratificaciones Culturales” at Revolver galería /Lima, 2014), curated by Paula Borghi. In this exhibition the concept of cartographical mapping is questioned in different ways. Two exhibitions curated by Marcio Harum; “Bambaísmo” at Sala Luis Miroquesada Garland (Lima, 2015) and “Falsa Ruptura” at ICPNA (Lima, 2024) deal with the problematic of reproduction, original and copy. The first exhibition focuses on the reproduction of objects and works of art. The second one focuses on the contrast and contamination between physical and virtual reality . In 2022 I exhibited “Abstracciones Democráticas” where I showed a research on dismantling monumentality. My most recent exhibition “Trópicos Sólidos” at Ginzberg-Tzu gallery deconstructed the architecture of Sao Paulo.
