Born in Damascus, Syria 1988, I currently live in Japan working toward a Ph.D. in humanities and social sciences at the University of Tsukuba. In 2016 I completed my Master’s in Egypt at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University- Mural Painting. My artwork varies in several forms; Painting, Mural Painting, Printmaking, and Illustration. I prepared my first solo exhibition “Tiamat” (The goddess of the ocean In the Sumerian epic of creation-Enûma Elish) at The Austrian Culture Forum, Egypt, Cairo, 2016. My second solo exhibition was held in the National Center for Visual Arts, Damascus, Syria in 2020, the artworks were a depiction of the Kalamoon mountainscape scenes between Damascus and my hometown (Al Nabk).
Since 2005 I have participated in many workshops and group exhibitions in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, London, and Germany.
I was a teaching staff member in Syria at the University Of Kalamoon, Faculty of Media and Applied Arts, and Damascus University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
