L'Heure Bleue 2024

L’Heure Bleue is a French expression meaning The Blue Hour. It speaks of Twilight when the world takes on a blue, luminous glow. L’Heure Bleue is an enchanted time when all is silent and humanity finds itself in perfect harmony with nature. A chance to peer beyond the veil of consciousness, offering a glimpse into a world that stretches far and deep into the depths of the soul.

Super Natural 2020

I chose the name Super Natural as I am introducing the super saturated colors into our natural environment. I work with the elements of wind and natural light creating the fog of color in each setting, as well as, working with eco-friendly materials.
The Super Natural mist brings a transformative breath into our world, as if coming from another dimension to heal our planet.

Cheryl Maeder is a video installation artist and conceptual photographer with her studio located in the Miami area.
Maeder’s investigations into video and large-scale installations have expanded her visual world. By immersing herself into the world of new technologies and shifting between the mediums, new opportunities for rewarding and creative collaborations have occurred for large-scale installations.
Cheryl Maeder’s video installations and photographs are created entirely on location working with the elements of wind and natural light. Maeder works in collaboration with nature, transporting the viewer on a mystical and magical journey.
Her work is in permanent museum, corporate and private collections. Her video installations have been exhibited in public art platforms in United States, Europe and South America; such as, Aspen Ideas: Climate, Aspen Institute in collaboration with Public Art for Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County, Dept of Cultural Affairs.
