ANNE TÜRN

Anne Türn was born in Tallinn, Estonia. She began her artistic education at Tallinn Art University
(1984-1990), followed by postgraduate studies at Kassel University, Germany. She is member of
Estonian Artists Union, Estonian Union of Ceramic Artists and International Academy of
Ceramics.
She keeps experimenting in various mediums, such as ceramics, glass and light installations . Her
international exhibition record dates back to 1993 . She won her first Grand Prix in in Zagreb,
Croatia at International Triennale of Small Ceramics in 1997, followed by Merit Award at Flechers
Challenge Award, NZ and Grand Prix at The Second Biennale of Ceramics, Monterrey, Mexico.
1998. Her works have been awarded at GICBiennale, Icheon, Korea 2017, Taiwan Ceramics
Biennale, 2020 and multiple other competitions. The most recent recognition is from Spring
Exhibition, Art House Tallinn – Viewers`Choice Award (2021) and Caja Rural Prize from CICA, L`Alcora,
Spain(2024)
