‘We are part of nature and I am curiously drawn to it, yet at the same time we are continually becoming more and more detached. As an artist I am fascinated by our emotional connections to the wild and the overwhelming feeling that so much about our own existence is still unknown to us. Recently my work has taken a more political stance against politicians lack of action on climate change and how economic wealth justifies the destruction of our natural world. A recurring theme in my work is opulence often lurking with sinister’.
