Getting warmed up from "Sweet memories around a bonfire" 2018
Man becomes aware of himself and his creative power with Prometheus Myth, who steals Zeus' Fire to give to Mankind. Aeschylus says that Prometheus not only gave to the Man the fire but also brought to Mankind the arts and sciences. Therefore, this ongoing project intents to share my own experience with the fire which plays an important role in human beings' life and on my own life. Being a friend or an enemy, the fire has its unique beauty, and it depends on us to use it wisely.

Fire is one of the elements that fascinates me the most since my childhood. I believe it is because I used to go to the mountains with my family in the wintertime. We used to light a huge bonfire in front of our home, so we could get warmed up, roast our meat, and talk all night long around a bonfire. The tradition remains and my husband and daughter may enjoy and share with me some memories of my past. We keep lighting our bonfire, chatting around it, eating and drinking with our friends. The sweet memories are brought out and retold to my beloved family and my dear friends.

Ana Claudia Marra has a Doctor's Degree in Linguistics/Semiotics and has worked as a professor at universities and institutes since 2008. Besides that, She has a bachelor's degree in Translation/interpretation and worked as a dancer for more than 30 years. Photography was an old passion and She decided to attend courses in São Paulo (2017 – 2019), and in 2019 She attended a course in photography at Michigan State University. Last year She participated in the 5th international photo awards (5th 35awards) and was awarded as one of the top 50 photographers in São Paulo City. She has been studying a lot and wants to continue creating and choreographing, but now it will be through images.
