Prisma Poltrona 2020
A full spectrum light chair that is functional and fun. Made from laser cut acrylics and a simple LED system, the Prisma Poltrona is a functional yet playful design that serves as both art and design in 360 degrees.
The light of different colors represented in the acrylics refract differently while merging colors at different angles create an effect similar to a rainbow. The overall design provides an interactive affect as the user lounges or simply walks around the installation.
Serving as a lounge chair, bench and even a slide for small children, visitors can interact with, or simply relax in an immersive glowing design. The all weather design makes this installation suitable for indoors and outdoors, and has a dramatic affect in evening exhibition settings with its custom lighting feature.
