“The Dappled Murmur" 2022

“The Dappled Murmur" is a fascinating example of an Art collage on an oil and cold wax painting, blending the textured, impressionistic background with bold, surreal collage elements. This hybrid approach creates a rich, multi-layered composition that engages viewers on both visual and conceptual levels. Through its combination of styles and techniques, the artwork explores themes of modernity, identity, and the interplay between reality and imagination.
The background painting sets the stage with its textured, impressionistic style. Collage elements are integrated onto the painted surface, creating a layered, multi-dimensional effect. The painted background provides a rich texture that contrasts with the smoother, sharper edges of the collage elements. Bold, contrasting colors (red gloves, blue car) draw attention and create focal points within the composition. This artwork is now available as a Ciglee, Offset ,and monoprint.
