Born December 18, 1947, Melbourne. Alumna, Victoria College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. At my first exhibition of ceramic work in 1983 maiolica platters were purchased by the National Gallery of Victoria and the National Gallery of Australia. I have exhibited every year since then.
I travelled to Japan in 1989 to arrange exhibitions of my work, leading to 8 exhibitions of my ceramics in Japan.
In 1992 I was awarded an Australia Council grant to work in ceramics studios in Italy and Turkey.
I visited the Dartington Pottery in Devon in 1997 leading to two months residency every year for 7 years, with work featured at New York Gift Fair, and in Top Drawer (British Crafts Council).
In 2000 I was invited to exhibit and lecture at Seduced by Colour: the New Maiolica at the Museum of Ceramic Art, Toronto.
Represented Australia at the Asia-Pacific Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition, Taiwan, 2002.
Exhibitor at Korean International Ceramic Biennale, Icheon, South Korea 2019
