A Quien Le Importa. 2017
This is a site specific piece I created for a group exhibition. I wanted to create an installation out of fabrics with patterns and colors that together symbolize an aesthetic that often gets portrayed as trashy or of lower value. Present it in a way in so that it feels powerful and proud, as a way of given space and respect to aesthetics that to often get pushed away from the cultural sphere. The piece main goal is to start a conversation about how excluding spaces such as the art scene can be, how segregation creates perspectives that create rules for what they believe to be right and wrong, and how whats different must try to assimilate or be deemed as bad.

Pink Teen. 2018
In this piece I wanted to showcase the strength and endurance in individuals who show their femininity.
How from a young age I noticed that femininity was something that came with a price,
and that it was deemed as much lower than masculinity.
How my own identity was obliged to choose masculinity above femininity and if I wouldn’t, I would become something unwanted and rejected by society.

Loud Attire. 2018
This work is an Hommage to all of those who bravely and without any restrictions allow themselves to take place and be who they wish to be.
Those who are perceived as too loud or create too much of a distortion in the ruling norm.
Individuals who go against the norms and continuously make space and open up for coming generations to feel accepted and worthy of attention no matter their skin color, gender, class affiliation. or sexual orientation.

I got my Bachelors Degree at Konstfacks Fine Arts Department in the year 2015. In 2016 I created the installation called ”I Wish This Was On My Way To Somewhere”, that was shown at both Stockholms Metro station Odenplan and at Stockholm Läns Museum in the group show ”Medan du väntar”. In the fall of 2016 I was commissioned to create the artistic interior for one of the new floors at Södersjukhuset(Stockholm), and started my Masters at the Konstfack Fine Arts Department. This year I have gotten my Masters and been awarded a grant that gives me a free studio for a whole year and a grant from the Swedish Royal Art Academy, got the honor to represent Konstfack at Art In The Alps Youth Biennale, Brixen/Bressanonne Italy, and taken part of several exhibitions in Sweden and internationally.
