Shapes and Forms 2020

The concepts of Shapes and Forms have been part
of my life for a long time. Since childhood I have
been exposed to visual arts through my father who is a renowned senior artist. In the last few years I have observed the development of my drawings over the period of time. Like any other child, I too have several forms and shapes in my drawings in the form of scribbling, these shapes and forms have gradually evolved resulting in the paintings that I am currently working on. Presently I am focusing on the aspect of how basic shapes can be used to create a work of art. Through the usage of these geometric shapes I am trying to explore and understand how shapes coexist and sometimes harmoniously accept and reject one another. I believe working on this subject should happen through pure intuitions and not on mere logic as it may lead to technically analyzing the work and not philosophically
understanding it.
