The 5th Edition marks a turning point. For the first time, COCA publishes an international editorial work across three catalogues — ÉTOILE, LUMIÈRE, ECLIPSE — distributed throughout the contemporary art circuit.

3 INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS
Selected works from among the 150 finalists will be published in the three thematic catalogues — ÉTOILE, LUMIÈRE and ECLIPSE.

Participate in your category and bring your artistic vision to the world. ÉTOILE | LUMIÈRE | ECLIPSE. Finalists will be featured in our publications — an editorial presence that crosses borders and reaches the international contemporary art circuit.

Artistic Production
This is not an award. It is a production budget — for you.
Submit your idea with a detailed realisation plan: materials, fabrication, technical collaborations. The selected project will be fully funded by COCA, wherever in the world you choose to realise it. The finished work will be included in the official publication of the 2026 Edition.

An artist residency in the ancient heart of Taranto, between two seas. Nestled in the evocative old town — one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Southern Italy — Nicanto offers a refined and intimate setting where the rhythm of daily life, the scent of the sea and the textures of ancient stone become part of the creative process.

La Dimora del Principe
Grottaglie (TA), Italy
6 artist residencies | 2027
A 17th-century historic residence in the heart of Puglia's ceramic capital. Grottaglie is internationally renowned for its centuries-old ceramic tradition, and Dimora del Principe places you at the very centre of it — surrounded by artisan workshops, ancient quarries and a creative community that has shaped this territory for generations.

1 | CATEGORY
Select ÉTOILE, LUMIÈRE or ECLIPSE based on your artistic practice. You may apply to one, two or all three categories.
2 | EXPERIENCE
Choose what you wish to gain from COCA: international catalogue publication, artist residency in Grottaglie or Taranto, or a production grant to realise your work.
3 | ARTWORK
Upload up to 2 works per discipline, submit a short biography and describe the project you intend to realise.
